Music fosters creativity and builds confidence. Cambridge Lower Secondary Music (0078) broadens learners' experience as they explore music as performers, composers and informed listeners.
Learners will make, understand and appreciate music from different cultures, times and places. The programme is designed to complement, rather than replace, instrumental or singing lessons.
The curriculum is divided into two strands: Making Music and Making Sense of Music — building from Stage 7 through to Stage 9.
